The unit lays flat horizontally or on its sidse vertically and fits in tight spaces plus the Truman Cell filter never needs replacing. The Oreck ProShield Air Purifier cleans and re-circulates the air in an 12' x 18' room.

Oreck offers its customers a full line of air purifiers that use either Truman Cell technology or True HEPA filters.
HEPA - How it works: captures 99.97% of dust, allergens, smoke, pet dander and pollen particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through its filter.
Truman Cell - How it works: Oreck's patented Truman Cell is an EP (Electrostatic Precipitator) filter that captures dust and allergens from the air that passes through its filter, pulling them out of the air like a magnet.

Truman Cell never needs replacing. The 6-stage purification process cleans and re-circulates the air - pre-filter, positive charging wires, partical collection, odor absorption, oxygenator, air revitalizer. Lays flat horizontally or on its side vertically. The disposable Odor Absorber helps reduce common household odors and VOCs from the air passing through it.
