Karcher NEW S 65 is random orbital cleaning and stripping head, engineered for stripping finished surfaces and cleaning smooth surface floors including: vinyl, linoleum and concrete. Uniquely Karcher, the S 65 orbital head has been engineered interchangeable with other Karcher modular disc brush and cylindrical roller decks.
The 26” orbital head can be mounted on any one of Karcher’s base units, including the 21-gallon B 80 W walk-behind or the 24-gallon B 90 R ride-on scrubber, in place of the cylindrical roller or disc brush heads. The addition of the S 65 head allows one machine to perform three different cleaning techniques. The S 65 head is ideal for removing polymer protected finishes and can also be used in daily maintenance cleaning of smooth floors or sensitive floors that require less pressure. Karcher’s R 65 cylindrical scrub deck provides unparalleled cleaning performance on structured floors while the D 65 disc head provides traditional pad or disc brush cleaning.
The S 65 head uses a random orbital motion and reduced but constant contact pressure to clean over its entire surface area. While its rectangular shape makes it ideal for cleaning into corners, its low deck height makes it the best possible solution for scrubbing under shelves and other immovable fixtures.
The S 65 head is designed for use with two distinct cleaning pads. The surface preparation pad, used for stripping floor finishes, is coated with a specialized abrasive for a rapid, smooth, cutting of a floor’s finish. It effectively scuffs the surface of the floor to optimize the bonding of a new finish. It diffuses scratches and conforms uneven surfaces, using plain water or a mild detergent, thus eliminating the need for chemicals that leave behind a slippery residue, and when finished the floor can be rinsed with water alone. For maintenance cleaning, the red maintenance-cleaning pad, similar to others in Kärcher’s scrubber drier line, can be used for traditional floor cleaning.
